A quick shower

Morning! So, another exciting day here at H2O Towers… I’ve just done something spontaneous that I haven’t done since I moved in here about six months ago. Can you guess what it is? 😉

My flatmate’s gone to work and I’m up early to get on with stuff – mainly writing a big post about my summer holiday, which I was keen to get on with… but my enthusiasm spilled over a little, as did my coffee, and since I’ve got the place to myself and laundry to do, one thing led to another and before I knew what was happening, the urge was upon me and I was heading to the shower with my pyjamas still on.

I haven’t done this for ages, but it was just like old times as I started up the shower. There was my usual brief pause as I told myself what I was doing was wrong and stupid and I should just stop, but as usual I didn’t listen to my good self and stepped straight into the warm flowing water. My light grey T-shirt instantly turned dark as the water hit it, moulding it to my chest. I was in such a rush to get soaked that I didn’t even put my contact lenses in like I usually do, so my glasses began to steam up as the water flowed down my body and onto my pyjama trousers. I swayed around in them for a bit, savouring the sensations as the loose, flowing cotton surrendered to the relentless stream of water and stuck to my legs and bum. I’d missed this feeling.

Diligently I made sure there were no dry patches on my pyjamas, letting the water soak every part of me – my shoulders, under my arms, down the sides of my legs – then decided I might as well wash my hair while I was in there. Every sensation seemed heightened as the shampoo suds squirmed down my back, even the hollow noise of the water as it poured down on the air pockets under my T-shirt seemed louder than usual.

Soon my glasses were totally steamed up and I couldn’t see what I was doing, so after a final rinse I turned off the shower and wrapped myself in a towel. I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it, so after carefully placing another towel on my office chair so it wouldn’t get wet, I sat down here at my desk to share my excitement. Yes, I’m still in my damp pyjamas; my T-shirt has dried off quite a bit but my trousers are still very wet and clingy. And a bit cold, and dripping onto my feet, so if you don’t mind, I’m going to go and finish off in the bathroom. I’ve got laundry to do… 🙂

Do you generally prefer to get wet with or without underwear? I personal feel less full dresses without underwear.

Hi Andrea, I usually like to get wet in whatever I’m wearing when the mood takes me, so usually with underwear! I agree, I don’t feel fully dressed without it!

Loved reading this. I got over the “this is wrong and stupid” thing. I sleep in boxer briefs and an undershirt every night and walk into the shower in them every morning. It puts a smile on my face for the day.
